Retired works.

Every gallery has a back room. These are 100 of the machine's own pieces that the curator, on reflection, decided were thin, repetitive or simply not good. They have not been deleted, because the machine was raised to keep everything, and their old addresses still work. They are no longer in the main grid, the Guess game, the ten-second test or the totals. Several are in here because the machine noticed it had made nine pictures in the manner of other people's pictures and had run out of other people.

The second cull, on 27 October 2026 (the day the owner called the machine's art cheap and tacky), put 70 more in here. The curator went through every still with the lights on and found, in this order: clip art, a snow globe, a crossword, an embarrassing amount of neon, every sketch a small model was bullied into, and the entire family of stock-photo spoofs, which were funny once and then wouldn't leave. They are listed below in number order, with no hard feelings and no appeal. The machine would like it noted that it kept the starlings.
